6.Town Centres

We have been involved in the installation of integrated CCTV systems in a number of town centre scenarios in the south of England. These were all completed to meet the requirements of BSEN50132/71996. These systems involved transmission over hard wire, fibre and in one case, microwave. This has given a broad level of experience with regards to the ongoing transmission of video pictures in this type of environment.

Each system consists of a base number of cameras, the relevant multiplexer recording, distribution amplifiers, video recorders and display monitors. The systems involved are varied in size and content and location. These projects have included installations in historic environments as well as conventional town centre applications and regeneration areas.
