4. Secure Housing

The site involved is a housing estate in southeast London. The client's wish was to install cameras for the protection of the tenants and the general public.

The task was to provide camera coverage over a total of thirteen buildings. All of the video signals were collected and recorded locally within each of the buildings. The actual buildings are controlled from a central matrix located in one of the multi storey tower blocks via a touch screen front-end interface. The cameras are located around the perimeter of each building as well as in each of the lift lobbies, the movement areas and the lifts themselves. Cameras are also located externally on the site in strategic locations to cover the amenity areas.

This particular project is a new departure for ourselves into an area in which we have not previously operated in both ourselves and the client are extremely happy with the outcome.
