<p>B&P Security Services & systems specialies in installation and maintenance

<p>B&P Security have under gone many projects that require specialised security
systems. Such as Lakeside shopping centre, this is one of the most prestigious
shopping developments in the south east second only to Bluewater at Dartford.
This provides full shopping facilities in the region of 250 shop units together
with a fully integrated cinema and entertainment complex. The challenge open
to B&P Security on this occasion was the installation and maintenance of a very
sophisticated CCTV system to cover and monitor the malls, car parks, bus station
etc. The greatest restraint was to ensure flexibility whilst matching with the
aesthetics of the development itself.</p>
<p>We have been involved in the installation and maintenance of integrated CCTV
surveillance systems in a number of town centre scenarios in the south of England.
These were all completed to meet the requirements of BSEN50132/71996. These
systems involved transmission over hard wire, fibre and in one case, microwave.
This has given a broad level of experience with regards to the ongoing transmission
of video pictures in this type of environment.</p>
<p>Another project was a secure cargo area for British Airways. The task was to
provide a facility whereby we could control the movement of staff within the
building as well as monitor all of the site activity. The access control system
had to be compatible with that already in existence to ensure that current staff
could freely operate within the new development.</p>
<p>At B&P Security we have worked on a secure housing project. The project
was a housing estate in southeast London. The client's wish was to install CCTV's
surveillance system for the protection of the tenants and the general public.
The task was to provide camera coverage over a total of thirteen buildings.
All of the video signals were collected and recorded locally within each of
the buildings. The actual buildings are controlled from a central matrix located
in one of the multi storey tower blocks via a touch screen front-end interface.
The CCTV's are located around the perimeter of each building as well as in each
of the lift lobbies, the movement areas and the lifts themselves. Cameras are
also located externally on the site in strategic locations to cover the amenity
areas. We have also worked within the prison department, we worked on two prison
within the London area the task was to provide coverage to a given area within
the prison coupled with digital recording.</p>
